From the first game at Cooperstown, New York over 150 years ago to today's modern ballparks, baseball has become a beloved icon of American life, and is, rightfully so, our national pastime.  Our clock pays homage to the game as it was before radio and television rights when "red hots" (hot dogs) were 15 cents, men wore hats, and one could still buy beer in the stands.
